Kris Pfeifer founded Pfeifer Design in 2000 after starting her career as art director for a wildlife-themed toy company, where she discovered her love for artwork that connects emotionally and translates to tangible products.

Over the years, she has grown her studio while creating art inspired by the things that bring people joy — favorite pastimes, places, pets, nature, and the little, yet memorable things in life. That same spirit inspired Bunkybee, her online shop celebrating the hobbies and happy places people feel connected to.

Today, Kris develops product-ready collections that balance clean composition with personality, designed to feel both timeless and fresh across categories. She brings both a designer’s eye and a storyteller’s heart to every collection, crafting work that is versatile and distinctive.

When she’s not designing, Kris enjoys traveling, biking, gardening, crafting, reading, and spending time with her family. She has a soft spot for the New Jersey shore, and chocolate.
