ABOUT the ARTIST

Kris Pfeifer founded Pfeifer Design in 2000 after beginning her career as art director for a wildlife-themed toy company, where she developed a love for artwork that connects emotionally and translates to tangible products.

Over the years, she has built her studio while continuing to create art inspired by the things that bring people joy — their favorite pastimes, places, pets, and everyday rituals. That spirit led her to launch Bunkybee, an online shop celebrating the hobbies and happy places people feel most connected to.

Today, she develops graphic, product-ready collections balances clean composition with personality, designed to feel both timeless and fresh across categories. Her work is influenced by her travels, time near the water, growing things in her garden, and the simple moments that make life feel personal. She brings both a designer’s eye and a storyteller’s heart to every collection she creates.
